We've booked a few lanes at Charlton Lido for a classic 100 x 100m (or as many 100s as you can manage in 4 hours) swim challenge. This is primarily for members of our Million Metre Challenge Facebook group but is open to anyone who wants to challenge themselves to a 10km pool swim and meet and swim with some of the Outdoor Swimmer team. Afterwards we will go the pub to recover and chat about swimming. Jo and Simon will be there to answer your questions about Channel swimming and open water racing.
Please note, this is not a coached session. You will be expected to self-manage within each lane.
Water temperature is expected to be between 25 and 27 degrees. Wetsuits are optional.
Clif are providing nutrition. We will also be holding a prize draw with a few goodies to give away including a Selkie bag.
Entry cost is £30 or £27 for subscribers to Outdoor Swimmer magazine.
